Shipping details
Orders received before 3pm for stocked items are normally sent out the same, or next business day. Orders placed after 3pm on Fridays will be processed and shipped the following Monday or Tuesday.
Custom items such as Made to order Rubber, etc. may take up to 21 days to ship from your order date. Larger items (e.g. sleep sacks or furniture may take 4 - 6 weeks as they are manufactured to order). Where an order contains both stocked and made to order items we will normally hold the order until all items are ready for dispatch. Please contact us if you need your items sooner.
We will advise you immediately if your order may take longer than the stated time. If you have any concerns about receiving your order in a timely manner please contact us for a delivery estimate.
Note: For registered customers you can track the status of your order by logging in to 'my account'. Tracking data is only available for items shipped UPS.
We now ship to many International locations including Australia, New Zealand and Brazil. Please note however that we can only ship to the cardholder's registered address for these destinations.
For orders shipped to within the USA relevant taxes are included within the total price. Note: For goods imported into non USA countries Customs Officers may charge additional local taxes and a handling fee in addition to the cost of goods and postage.
Occasionally we offer the option to collect your purchases from our vendor booth at Recon sponsored events. If available, this will show as a shipping option on checkout. Please confirm with us in advance that your items will be available in time for collection if you are ordering made to order rubber/clothing, etc. Furniture and bulky items are not available for collection at our booths.

We are closed all statutory USA holidays and packages will be processed the following business day.
Shipping Methods
USPS Priority Mail takes approximately 5 to 7 business days to anywhere in the United States. USPS Priority International takes approximately 5 - 7 business days to most countries, not including customs delays. These methods do not come with tracking information or insurance attached to your order and do not require a signature for delivery. If you have any concerns about the security of your delivery please do not use this method. If expected First Class Mail or Priority Mail has not arrived within 5 postal business days from its date of mailing, you can call 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777) where a customer service representative will document your concern. If a package is lost using USPS services we will wait at least 30 days before we take any kind of action. In general, lost USPS packages are unrecoverable and are not able to be replaced.
UPS delivery can take one to 5 days depending on shipping options. This shipping options comes with tracking data and basic insurance for your order. If a package is lost using UPS services a claim can be made directly with UPS. UPS cannot deliver to PO Boxes or APO's.
